June 2020
Message from the president
It is a difficult and challenging time, with much uncertainty, but finally our season is upon us. I would like to thank everybody for looking after themselves and their families during the last couple of months.
We are now looking forward to the resumption of training activities for our players and teams. It is good to be able to start planning our training and to actually see it all happening. As you all know by now, training is starting as of 1 June with a few restrictions in place still, for everybody’s safety. However, restricted training is better than no training.
A special word of thanks to our generous sponsors for their continued support, which is very much appreciated. We are looking at getting new kits for the club, and the design of our kits will be revealed shortly. We will be displaying all of our sponsors with pride on our new club kit. If you know of anybody out there that would be keen to sponsor us let the committee know so that the lead can be followed through.
We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary and will be hosting various events through the year. We will also be introducing various merchandise items with the 40th logo. More information to follow.

Stay safe and well

CLUB PHOTOS
Team and individual photos will be taken on
27 and 28 July 2020. Please make every effort to be available over this time.
It’s important that all players attend to ensure a really good team photo.
Our volunteers
The whole club structure, from committee members to the person washing game day jerseys, are volunteers. All of us offer up valuable time to get the kids playing rugby.
At this stage of the season we want to say thank you to the people who volunteered to be coaches, managers and first aiders. We as the committee would like you to get involved in the club and with the team/s that your child/ren are playing in.
In our upcoming newsletters we will be focusing on who our volunteers are, what they do and some general info about them.
This will help us also to know who is in the club.
We will be rewarding our volunteers this year for all their running around.

Club Activities
come and try day
The Club had its first Come and Try Day that coincided with a registration day.
The uptake was good and we saw over a hundred kids join on the day. Scott, Darcy and Len from the seniors came and joined us for Come & Try Day, participating in activities with the kids.
There was a lot of fun and laughter on the day with the touring team managing the canteen.

South coast 7's competition

Two of our teams entered the competition. They were the Under 15 and Under 16 teams.
The under 16 team encountered some fierce competition and had some mixed results. The under 15 team managed a much easier draw and won all their games.
